Maryland talks trash using emojis

Maryland thrashed West Virginia 37-0 on Saturday, and just couldn’t let the occasion pass without talking trash about their opponent. And because these are 18-22 year olds we’re dealing with, Maryland did this a) on Twitter, and b) using emojis!

How would the youth of today express their emotions without tiny, barely recognizable pictures only available on iPhones? It’s a question for culturalists to explore another day. For now, just know Maryland isn’t the first team to let its emojis do its smack talk.
