Cincinnati’s Munchie Legaux had this TD vs. Illinois overturned by replay

A dog pile on 4th down near the goal line led to controversy in Champaign.

A controversial replay review in Saturday’s Illinois game against Cincinnati could have a major effect on the final outcome.

With the Bearcats trailing 21-10 in the third quarter, they lined up at the one-yard line on fourth down. Running back Munchie Legaux carried the ball left and drove into the end zone on a play the officials initially ruled a touchdown ... but then they went to the replay booth.

After reviewing the play and somehow determining that the ball came out prior to crossing the goal line, the referees overturned the decision, giving the Illini the ball back on downs.
