Fresh off their national title win in the final BCS Championship Game, the Florida State Seminoles are the early favorites to repeat in 2014, according to oddsmakers at Bovada. FSU is an 11/2 betting favorite to emerge victorious in the first College Football Playoff.

The ‘Noles are just ahead of Alabama (13/2), Stanford (9/1) and Ohio State (10/1). Oregon has the fifth-best odds at 12/1, and Auburn, this season’s runner-up, is sixth at 14/1. Michigan State and Oklahoma are listed at 20/1, and Baylor, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, LSU, South Carolina, Texas A&M and UCLA have 25/1 odds.

For anyone hoping to make the biggest possible score, several teams are at 100/1 in the early going. Among those are Arizona, Boise State, BYU, Kansas State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

At 33/1, USC has the best odds of any team breaking in a new coach next year. Charlie Strong and Texas are listed at 50/1.
