CBS’ Verne and Gary despise Mississippi State fake punt
Mississippi State was up, 21-0, and should’ve probably just punted (I say this because the fake did not work). But after giving up way too many garbage-time points in wins against LSU and Texas A&M, Dan Mullen’s Bulldogs likely want to keep their paws on the gas for the entirety of this one. The result, though, was giving Auburn a short field.
The CBS crew really hated the idea.
