New Southern Miss logos feature different eyes

Who knew having healthy eyes was considered ‘traditional’?

Southern Miss released a picture of two new logos Wednesday night, confirming what every eye doctor has ever said: Allowing your eyes to turn yellow is ‘dynamic.’

Apparently, the lack of good, affordable eagle optometrists in southern Mississippi has made healthy eyes a ‘traditional’ value.

The last time Southern Miss unveiled a new logo, it ended up in a lawsuit with Iowa for trademark infringement. That version of the Southern Miss logo purportedly had a “fierce eyed gaze of independence,” according to the school. Those fierce eyes were white around the iris, though, because Golden Eagles are traditionally fierce.

What we’re saying is, Southern Miss might be a bit too obsessed with eyes.
