Boston College vs. Florida State betting odds guide and prediction
Florida State looks to extend its nation-leading winning streak this Saturday at home against Boston College.

But the Eagles are in tough as they look for their biggest upset of the season this Saturday visiting the Florida State Seminoles. Florida State hosts Boston College at 3:30pm ET on Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium.
Boston College is a 19.5-point road underdog on the Week 13 college football betting lines. Florida State has the talent to blow Boston College out, but its propensity for close games and Boston College’s tenacity as an underdog make the Eagles look like a solid value play at plus-19.5 despite the computer’s projected result.
OddsShark Computer Prediction: Florida State 40.3, Boston College 19.1
Back in September, the Eagles stunned the nation with a 37-31 upset win over the USC Trojans as a 17-point home underdog. In order to stun the college football world again, Boston College will need to be better on defense than it was last week when it gave up 38 points in a 38-19 home loss to Louisville. With that loss, the Eagles fell to 6-4 SU and ATS on the year. BC is 4-2 ATS in its last six games against Florida State.
Down 23-7 on the road against the Miami Hurricanes last week, it looked like Florida State’s undefeated season might be coming to an end. But just as they did after trailing Louisville by 21 in the first half back in October, the Seminoles roared back for a win and cover in a 30-26 victory over Miami. On the one hand, Florida State’s ability to come back and find ways to win is extremely impressive.
On the other hand, backers would prefer that the Seminoles would put a complete four-quarter performance together at some point. Florida State is just 3-8 ATS in its last 11 games.
The Florida State Seminoles are just 1-8 ATS in their last nine games when favored by a touchdown or more. And potentially looking ahead to a big game against Florida next week, it could be safe to assume that Boston College will be the more interested team in this Saturday’s game. Look for the Eagles to earn a cover as a 19.5-point underdog at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
