Buffalo and Kent State were supposed to meet up for some Wednesday night MACtion, but due to the massive snowstorm that hit Western New York, the MAC announced that the game has been postponed.
Kent State-Buffalo football game canceled amid massive snowstorm


[Update, Nov. 20: The MAC has announced the game has been canceled “and will not be rescheduled.” Earlier Thursday, UB had announced the game had been “tentatively scheduled” for 1 p.m. ET on Friday. The MAC has also bumped next week’s Kent State-Akron game from Tuesday to Friday.]
“Officials will reconvene tomorrow morning to explore playing the Kent State at Buffalo game on Thursday or on an alternative date,” the MAC tweeted. “Further details concerning when the Kent State at Buffalo game will be rescheduled will be provided when available.”
The Buffalo area has already gotten 70 inches of snow, and more could be on the way. Earlier on Wednesday, UB Stadium looked pretty unplayable.

The Buffalo Bills cancelled practice on Wednesday due to the snow, and while the team still plans on playing this Sunday, it’s going to have a lot of work to do to get things cleaned up.
