Unfortunately, the play was overturned after further review, as it was clear the ball made contact with the ground before being deflected into the air.
Making matters worse, that was a third-down play, and on fourth down, WVU kicker Josh Lambert missed a 40-yard field goal, leaving K-State up, 10-3.
