This is a very light week for major college football, which means College GameDay is headed to yet another unorthodox location. This time, it’s off to Harvard-Yale, for a game that probably would have been far better in the 1890s than it is now.
How to watch Yale vs. Harvard: Game guide, TV/streaming, odds
The biggest version of “The Game” in decades?
Still, there’s no shortage of excitement in Cambridge for GameDay at The Game. As is tradition, the Ivy pranks abounded this week, with Harvard not quite topping Yale’s legendary stunt from 2004.
In addition to the tradition surrounding the game, both teams are pretty good. Harvard is 9-0, while Yale is 8-1, and the Crimson are ranked 14th in FCS. The Ivy League is at stake! And Harvard’s also trying to become the first team in this rivalry to win eight meetings in a row since Yale did it in 1899.
While Harvard is favored by a lot, Yale has an offense that can give the Crimson trouble. The Bulldogs are ranked fourth in passing offense and seventh in rushing offense this year, and if they can get going, they might be able to pull the upset.
It should be quite the day at one of college football’s most historic stadiums. Here’s how you can follow along.
