Mississippi State’s Egg Bowl uniforms have little Mississippis all over

Bold move, adidas.

Even with Ole Miss’s two recent losses, this year’s Egg Bowl looks to be one of the most memorable in the long rivalry’s history. Mississippi State remains undefeated and stands as the No. 1 team in the country, while the Rebels have one of the nation’s best defenses and still hold a (longshot) chance at making the playoff if they win out. Big rivalry games are a popular time to reveal new uniforms, and Mississippi State and adidas have decided to do exactly that.

Note the small Mississippi outlines inside the numbers, placing the state right on the jersey for the big in-state rivalry game.

The game kicks off November 29, with time to be determined. Before the Egg Bowl, Mississippi State has to play UT Martin, Alabama and Vanderbilt, while Ole Miss plays Presbyterian and Arkansas.
