The Oregon Ducks are a perfect 7-0 SU and ATS over their last seven games. With a win over the troublesome Arizona Wildcats in the Pac-12 Championship Game on Friday night, the Ducks could punch their ticket to the College Football Playoff.
Oregon is a 13.5-point favorite over Arizona, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. With a healthy offensive line and a healthy respect for the Wildcats, Oregon should be able to pick up a win and cover on Friday.
OddsShark Computer Prediction: Oregon 43.4, Arizona 28.6
Dealing with a beat up offensive line, the Oregon Ducks suffered a shocking 31-24 loss to Arizona back on Oct. 2. Since then, the Ducks have gotten healthier and have been playing like a team on a mission with a 7-0 SU and ATS record.
Oregon has won all seven of those games by double digits and each of the last six by at least 18, averaging 48.5 points per game over that stretch. It is difficult to see this offense being held to only 24 points again.
Arizona and Oregon square off at 9 p.m. ET at Levi's Stadium this Friday.
The Wildcats haven't picked up too many style points with a 5-7 ATS record this season, but in the crowded Pac-12 South Arizona rose to the top with a 10-2 SU record. Arizona picked up impressive road upsets at Oregon and at Utah this year and earned its trip to the Pac-12 Title Game with a 42-35 win over rival ASU.
Since scoring only seven points in a loss to UCLA, Arizona's offense has averaged 37.3 points per game with back-to-back 42-point performances. The Wildcats are 2-0 SU and ATS in their last two games against Oregon, according to the OddsShark College Football Database, with back-to-back upsets as a double-digit underdog.
Does Arizona have Oregon's number, or have the Wildcats just caught the Ducks at opportune times? Oregon backers will argue that the Ducks were caught in a letdown spot last year and had no offensive line this year. The Ducks were 5-0 SU in their previous five games against Arizona and are playing far too well to pass on as a 13.5-point favorite at the sportsbooks.
