Big 12 Media Days is a two-day event in which media members head to Dallas to talk with Big 12 coaches, players and other associated conference personnel. It's doesn't have the high energy of the four-day SEC extravaganza or the goofy air of the two-day ACC event, but there are some high-profile names and programs that will be there.
Here’s our coverage of last year’s event, to give you a better idea of what’s in store.
When is it?
Monday, July 21 through Tuesday, July 22. Monday will run from 9 a.m. to noon, while Tuesday will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at noon.

Who’s the one coach everyone must listen to?
Bill Snyder’s speaking is usually fun. Same goes for Kliff Kingsbury, who will talk about almost anything. Dana Holgersen’s can get a little feisty, as can Mike Gundy’s.
The real coach to look out for, however, is the conference’s only newcomer -- Charlie Strong, taking over the conference’s biggest program and the final interview slot of the festivities.
Will any actual news happen?
Coaches usually announce roster and injury updates, with some depth chart movement possible as well. Last season, Baylor announced a new helmet!
