Former Washington wide receiver Damore’ea Stringfellow is in the process of transferring to another FBS school, and Nebraska was his chosen destination -- that is, until he visited Oxford, Miss. Now, Stringfellow is planning to sign on with Ole Miss. Cornhuskers head coach Bo Pelini is understandably frustrated.
Nebraska’s Bo Pelini calls out Ole Miss transfer for ... something
Damore’ea Stringfellow looked like he was going to Nebraska, but now he favors Ole Miss. Pelini isn’t happy.

“Read between the lines,” Pelini said. “I think we all know what happened in that situation.”
Pelini was then asked whether it’s parents making their kids’ decisions for them, and whether things change when recruits return home after making a decision, and if that’s frustrating.
“Especially when it’s a clueless parent,” Pelini said.
That “clueless parent” to whom Pelini is referring is likely Stringfellow’s mother, who accompanied her son on the visit to Oxford. While Nebraska fans might not be calling out parents, they are understandably upset.
I don’t like to swear on pieces I write. But I have to here. This f’ing sucks.
Ole Miss fans, meanwhile, are proceeding with caution.
I’m still not totally sold on Stringfellow, as there seem to have been several minor (and some potentially major) disciplinary problems involving him within the past year, and he’ll have to prove over time that he’s not, to use lingo from the 1400s, a “bad apple.” But the potential for him to be a solid SEC receiver is obviously there.
