Arkansas quarterback’s truck set on fire

Brandon Allen’s truck was one of three vehicles set aflame in Fayetteville Sunday night. It’s unclear whether the incident had anything to do with the Razorbacks football program.

Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen’s vehicle was one of three that caught fire Sunday night in Fayetteville in what is being investigated as an arson case, multiple outlets are reporting.

KFSM reports the Chevy Avalanche, given to Allen by his father, ended up in a ditch. Allen was reportedly awoken by the truck’s fire alarm, stepping outside and seeing the vehicle on fire.

This is not the first time Allen's ride has been involved in an unfortunate incident during his time in Fayetteville.

Allen, who won the Razorbacks' starting quarterback job as a sophomore last season under new head coach Bret Bielema, completed 49.6% of his passes for 6.0 yards per attempt, with 13 touchdowns against 10 interceptions.
