Michigan State QB Connor Cook throws TD, suffers vicious low hit, throws TD
Two plays, one injury, and two touchdowns.

While throwing a beautiful pass to Tony Lippett for a touchdown to put his team up 7-0, star Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook took an ugly hit to the knees from a Jacksonville State defender. However, after being carried off the field and limping around the sidelines, Cook returned to the field and threw a 71-yard touchdown pass, also to Lippett, on the very next play to put the Spartans ahead, 14-0.
