2014 Heisman Trophy odds for 29 players, led by Winston and Mariota

Offensive stars and one linebacker make up your preseason Heisman field.

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Bovada released updated Heisman odds on Tuesday, and there's a familiar name at the top of the list. Jameis Winston is looking to become the first back-to-back Heisman winner since Ohio State's Archie Griffin in 1975. Winston's odds have moved from 2/1 to 9/2 since Bovada released its first set in January, but he's still the favorite of the group.

The four biggest favorites are all quarterbacks, while running backs Todd Gurley and Melvin Gordon also made the top eight. UCLA two-way star Myles Jack was the only defensive player to make the list, while Alabama had the most players listed: running backs T.J. Yeldon and and Derrick Henry and quarterback Jacob Coker. LSU's Leonard Fournette was the only true freshman listed, and he could become the first true freshman — but third straight freshman overall — to win the award.
