Friday night college football TV/streaming schedule

We’re three weeks into the college football season, but tonight will be Cincinnati’s season opener. Luckily for the Bearcats, they’re not too far behind a lot of other teams statistically, despite having not played a snap yet. They’ll get a chance to do just that when they kick off against a Toledo team that many figured could challenge in the MAC. However, the Rockets will be without their Alabama transfer quarterback Philip Ely, who was injured last week against Missouri.

Cincinnati looks like it could be the team to beat in the AAC this year, but Toledo will provide a strong test, even without Ely. One more thing to look forward to will be debut of Gunner Kiel. A former All-American, Kiel committed to Indiana, then LSU, before eventually enrolling at Notre Dame. After being buried on the Irish’s depth chart, he transferred to Cincinnati, where he was named the starter.

In the other game tonight, Baylor will head to Buffalo, which is 1-1 and fresh off the heels of a defeat to Army. The Bulls’ win wasn’t great, either — a 38-28 win over Duquesne. The MAC had a lot of success against the Big Ten last week, but in two big games on Friday, it isn’t favored to have the same amount of success, and the Buffalo game could get ugly.
