Dana Holgorsen has never spoken to his kicker, who nailed a game-winner vs. Maryland

Josh Lambert was the hero for West Virginia, drilling a 47-yarder as the clock expired just minutes after getting a kick blocked to beat Maryland 40-37. He did it thanks to an inspiring pep talk by coach Dana Holgorsen:

Hey, man, kickers coach themselves. They go over in their little corner and practice kicking and there's nothing Dana can say to make them better or worse.

We wonder if this is actually true. Has he ever said hello? Did he talk to him during the recruiting process? Did he welcome him to campus? “Hey, Josh, you won the kicking job!”
