Louisville wearing urban camo uniforms against Florida State

The Cardinals will be wearing gray alternates for their game against the Seminoles October 30.

Maryland may be gone from the ACC, but the new guys are getting in on the uniform fun. Louisville football unveiled new uniforms Monday morning for next month's game against Florida State, and they are certainly gray!

Adidas’s insistence on using that trippy, zig-zag background all the time makes it harder to focus on the uniformsanyway, but the gray-on-gray somehow makes it even more difficult this time around. The closer look at the helmet and cleats shows this appears to be an attempt at camouflage -- perhaps in an effort to hide Louisville’s recent loss to Virginia.

The game will be played October 30 in Louisville at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium, which is in no way, shape or form gray. Stop using camo for every dang occasion, football teams.
