Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones' first three collegiate starts have been among the most high-stress in college football history: the Big Ten Championship Game, the Sugar Bowl semifinal, and Monday's national title game against Oregon. Jones, a former three-star prospect in high school, did not look at all flustered against Wisconsin or Alabama, and he's doing all he can to stay focused on the upcoming game against Oregon.
New Ohio State QB taking drastic cell phone measures ahead of title game
Cardale Jones is blocking out all sorts of distractions.
Jones spent an hour this week blocking every single phone number in his cell that wasn’t immediate family, according to Ohio State offensive coordinator Tom Herman, via Steven Godfrey. Herman said Jones did this on his own and then told the coaches later.
This is just one of several great Jones stories to emerge from Saturday's media event. The quarterback is also apparently planning on learning to cook at the end of the season, a decision apparently so worrying that roommate Tyvis Powell said "please pray for us." Powell also had something to say about a potential position change for Jones:

“You guys haven’t seen all of his power,” Spencer, a senior wide receiver, said. “I’ve seen Cardale on one knee throw the ball 65 yards. I was dumbfounded. You haven’t seen everything he’s got, trust me.”
Previously, Jones went to a hospital to obliterate a kid at NCAA Football, and everyone was happy about it.
