It’s a rematch of one of last season’s tighter SEC West matchups, as Arkansas (2-3, 1-1 in conference) travels to Bryant-Denny Stadium to take on eighth-ranked Alabama (4-1, 1-1).
How to watch Arkansas vs. Alabama on TV or online, plus 3 things to know
Arkansas heads to Tuscaloosa in need of a marquee win.
Last season, the Tide just barely rolled out of Fayetteville 14-13, with a missed extra point and a goal-line fumble helping to seal the Hogs’ fate. Things haven’t exactly gone according to plan for Bret Bielema’s team this season, but S&P+ has looked a little more kindly on Arkansas than one might think. Although it still lists their win probability as just 10 percent this weekend.
Still, nothing would please Razorback fans more than a big win over the defending SEC Champions.
As for the Tide, they got their groove back big time in Athens, thrashing a top-10 Georgia team 38-10 behind a 26-carry, 148-yard performance from tailback Derrick Henry that earned him SEC Player of the Week honors. Nick Saban didn’t seem to appreciate the media’s premature obituaries for his program.

Three big things to know
1. Rubber meet road? Arkansas tailback Alex Collins has rushed for 170, 151 and 154 yards in his last three games. Meanwhile, Alabama has allowed just 420 yards through the previous five games. They did allow 193 to Georgia last week, but most of that came from an 83-yard run that Nick Chubb broke in the second half, after the Tide had opened up a significant lead.
2. Passing the test Bama quarterback Jacob Coker turned in what might have been his most consistent performance of the season last week, completing 11-of-16 for 190 yards and a touchdown. Arkansas ranks dead last in the SEC in pass defense efficiency.
3. Developing chemistry?
Coker’s top target against Georgia was true freshman and former five-star recruit Calvin Ridley. It was a breakout performance for the 6-0, 170-pound receiver with five catches for 120 yards and a touchdown. Finding a consistent security blanket would be a big step for Lane Kiffin’s passing game.
