LSU is getting every bounce against South Carolina
For LSU’s passing game, it’s better to be lucky than good.
LSU's offense this fall has revolved around all-everything running back Leonard Fournette, and for good reason: He's now over 1,000 yards on the season, and looks like the prohibitive favorite to win the 2015 Heisman Trophy.
However, the Tigers have also struggled through the air, with inconsistency from quarterback Brandon Harris and a fair few drops from the Tigers' wide receivers mucking up most efforts to make LSU's attack more than one-dimensional.
Given those struggles, this touchdown pass — on which an overthrown ball from Harris for tight end DeSean Smithwas fortuitously tipped up and right into the hands of wide receiver Travin Dural, in a manner somewhat reminiscent of LSU's famous "Miracle in the Bluegrass" — seems like found money for Cam Cameron's offense.
But, heck, it probably put away this game, staking LSU to a 31-10 lead over South Carolina. And given that it was just the fourth touchdown pass on the season Harris, it might be worth trying it at least a few times in practice, right?
