Life has been difficult for Colorado in the Pac-12. Mike MacIntyre’s team has been steadily improving, but so has the rest of the conference. As a result, the Buffaloes are 1-19 in conference play since MacIntyre left San Jose State to take over the program in 2013, with the only win coming against Cal in the first year.
How to watch Arizona vs. Colorado on TV or online, plus 3 things to know
Is this Colorado’s chance for its first conference win since 2013?

Colorado looks to turn that around on Saturday against Arizona, a team fresh off a 44-7 beatdown of Oregon State after two consecutive blowout losses to open conference play. The Wildcats have won three games in a row in this series, but Colorado won the first Pac-12 matchup between these two schools in 2011.
It’s probably safe to assume Arizona is the better team at this point, but the Wildcats may not have beaten a better team than Colorado’s win over Colorado State.

Three big things to know
1. Scooby’s not playing :( . Star Arizona linebacker Scooby Wright III will miss this game with a knee injury, but wide receiver Trey Griffey looks likely to return from a foot injury. The Wildcats have been banged up in the early season, and while not having Wright against Colorado’s offense will hurt, welcoming Griffey back to the receiving corps should help.
2. Colorado has a dangerous passing attack. Nelson Spruce (37 catches, 440 yards, one touchdown) is one of the best wide receivers in the conference, and quarterback Sefo Liufau (59.8 completion percentage, 7.2 yards per attempt, eight total touchdowns) has continued his development into a capable Pac-12 passer. Arizona’s banged up defense should be on watch against a Colorado team that has averaged 23.5 points per game so far in Pac-12 contests.
3. It’s not the only one. After a strong freshman campaign, Arizona QB Anu Solomon (63.4 completion percentage, 7.7 yards per attempt, 12 total touchdowns against zero interceptions) has been downright deadly so far this season. The Wildcats have scored at least 42 points four times this season, and have scored under 30 only once.
