Michigan State’s unlikely hero hurt his hip, maybe in a celebratory dogpile

Jalen Watts-Jackson had a truly unforgettable night, that’s for sure.

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Michigan State's Jalen Watts-Jackson scored one of the least likely touchdowns in recent memory, snatching up a flubbed punt and racing it to paydirt to beat Michigan — and he got hurt for his efforts.

Watts-Jackson ended up at the bottom of a massive dogpile in the end zone after crossing the goal line, and it seems likely that’s how he got hurt.

If so: He might end up with the sort of scar that will make the story of an already unforgettable night even better ... 10 or 20 years from now, anyway.
