Texas’ punter just pulled off what Michigan’s punter was trying to do
Sometimes you fumble and lose a game. Sometimes you down the punt inside the 10 yard line. That’s puntin’ for ya!
One week later, Texas punter Michael Dickson tried the same thing against Kansas State and might have punted the Punt of the Year.
Dickson, a freshman punter from Australia, had his own run-in with a game-losing fumbled snap earlier this year. The Oklahoma State catastrophe was even referenced by Fox Sports 1’s game announcers seconds before the snap went over Dickson’s head Saturday.
It just goes to show: The punt remains the most exciting play in all of football.
