When Lance Austin picked up a blocked field goal and returned it 78 yards for a game-winning touchdown against Florida State Saturday, the Georgia Tech sophomore had a familiar blocker by his side: His twin brother Lawrence.

Yes, that really happened last night. Unbelievable. #TogetherWeSwarm pic.twitter.com/6HbJ0EjaAg
— GeorgiaTech Football (@GeorgiaTechFB) October 25, 2015 The brothers had been playing in memory of their grandmother Louise, who died due to cancer, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Ken Sugiura:
As Austin approached the goal line, he was joined by his twin brother, also in on the play, and they crossed into the end zone together, sending Bobby Dodd Stadium into joyful bedlam.
"He said, ‘Grandma's looking down on us, and you did it for her,'" Lance Austin said. "And I did."
Earlier in the game, Lawrence had caused the first Florida State offensive turnover of the season when he tipped a pass that was intercepted by a teammate. It was arguably the play of the game for Georgia Tech, until his twin brother came up with the play of the year.
