College football odds, Week 9: Florida, Clemson, USC betting favorites

The Florida Gators, Clemson Tigers and USC Trojans are among the betting favorites on the college football odds at the sportsbooks this week.

Crystal LoGiudice-USA TODAY Sports

The Florida Gators are 12-5 straight up and 10-6-1 against the spread in their last 17 games against the Georgia Bulldogs. The Gators and the Bulldogs will meet in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party this Saturday at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Florida.

Florida is a 3-point betting favorite in this matchup at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Coming off a bye week after picking up their first loss of the season to LSU a week before, the Gators will try to bounce back and keep their SEC title hopes alive with a win in this one. The Bulldogs are 14-6 SU in their last 20 games played in October.

The Clemson Tigers were an 8-point favorite on the road last week against the Miami Hurricanes, and they passed that test with flying colors in a 58-0 blowout win.

Clemson will be going for another road win as a 10-point favorite this Saturday against the NC State Wolfpack. Clemson is 10-0 SU over its last 10 games but just 3-8 ATS in its last 11 October games, according to the OddsShark College Football Database.

Cal is a 5.5-point underdog at home and has gone just 6-14 SU and 5-15 ATS in its last 20 games on the team’s home field. The UNDER is 9-2 in the last 11 meetings between these two teams.

Off to a 7-0 SU start to the season, the Temple Owls will face their toughest test of the season so far, hosting the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this Saturday night. Temple is a 9.5-point home underdog at Lincoln Financial Field and will be facing a Notre Dame team that is 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS over its last five games.

Looking to bounce back from their wild last-second loss to Michigan State, the Michigan Wolverines return from their bye this week on the road against Minnesota. Michigan is 5-0 ATS in its last five road games against the Golden Gophers and is a 13-point road favorite this Saturday.
