The No. 3 Ole Miss Rebels (4-0) are looking to improve to 3-0 in SEC as they head to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium Saturday evening to take on the Florida Gators (4-0, 2-0 in conference), who recently jumped into the rankings at No. 25 following last week’s dramatic win over Tennessee.
How to watch Ole Miss vs. Florida on TV or online, plus 3 things to know
The Rebels head into the Swamp for the first time since 2008.
The Rebels had a bit of a hangover win over Vanderbilt last week, 27-16, but are still riding high at fifth in S&P+. Ole Miss ranks second in the country in scoring at 54.8 points per game, and quarterback Chad Kelly ranks tenth in passer rating at 174.26. This trip marks the last intimidating road trip for Hugh Freeze’s team until the Egg Bowl season finale with Mississippi State.
Florida has a chance to earn Jim McElwain a pretty big feather in his cap as a first-year coach with a win over a top-five conference opponent. As it is, the wins over Kentucky and Tennessee have the Gators in the Top 25 for the first time since 2013 (which seems really hard to believe). And Saturday marks the last home game before three straight away from The Swamp, at Missouri, LSU and the annual matchup with Georgia in Jacksonville.

Three big things to know
1. Swag in?
The Rebs’ loquacious quarterback was the breakout star of the Rebels’ huge week three win in Tuscaloosa with 341 yards through the air and four total touchdowns. He faces a Florida secondary that has been without stud corners Jalen Tabor and Vernon Hargreaves III at different times, and struggled against a similar style of passing game in East Carolina. The Pirates’ Blake Kemp threw for 333 yards and three touchdowns in a tough loss in Gainesville.
2. Bobby both ways?
Ole Miss’ star defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche already projects as one of the top picks in next spring’s NFL Draft, but he also might be the Rebels’ best offensive weapon on the goal line as well. He has a rushing and passing touchdown on the season already, and with star offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil still in eligibility limbo, the Rebels will need as much beef as they can find in short yardage.
3. Fourth down magic
Florida’s redshirt freshman quarterback Will Grier was clutch against Tennessee, converting five fourth-down situations through the air, including that amazing 63-yard touchdown to take the lead. He’ll have his work cut out for him against Ole Miss’ dangerous defense, although the Rebels will be without star safety Tony Conner, who tore his meniscus two weeks ago.
