Oregon-Arizona State went nuclear and had a controversial ending. 3-minute highlights!

Good morning! It’s your Friday morning roundup of college football stuff.

PAC-12 AFTER DARK. Arizona State put 741 yards and 37 first downs on Oregon and pulled off stunts like this one-handed, diving INT. But Oregon pulled off a butt touchdown to send the game to OT, then got a questionable TD call in triple overtime to seal it, 61-55 (even Oregon fans admit the winning score could’ve been overturned). And just like that, the craziest Pac-12 game of the year has arrived.

Duck fans:

From an impartial point of view, this game was wildly entertaining. For a Duck fan, it was wildly frustrating. Oregon gave up more yards than I believe anyone in the history of ever [not quite, but it felt like it]. College basketball envied the final score. But Oregon got the win.

TCU dominates. No. 5 TCU looked like a juggernaut Thursday night, crushing West Virginia and showing off a drastically improved defense. Trevone Boykin did whatever he wanted (including flipping into the end zone for the third time), and even WVU head coach Dana Holgorsen couldn't resist dapping him after one particularly nasty juke.

Happy Halloween! You’re gonna see a lot of fans in costumes this weekend, but can anybody top this TCU dinosaur?

TCU fans think it’s time the Horned Frogs move back up from No. 5 in the polls.

Pitt parties, then loses. How fun does Pitt’s water-spraying fourth-quarter rave look? Tons of fun, but it didn’t keep the No. 23 Panthers from losing an important home game to North Carolina. Hey look, UNC might win the ACC Coastal!

Looking ahead. Here’s a comprehensive TV viewing plan for Friday and Saturday.

Pac-12 showdown. Stanford-Washington State is a huge game, just as we all expected a few months back?

A Trojan horse? Despite USC’s troubles earlier this year, its next coach will inherit a deadly roster.

The Lane Train. Miami fans are all aboard on the idea of Lane Kiffin, with two-thirds of those polled wanting the Hurricanes to hire him as Al Golden’s replacement. Kiffin is sort of a jerk sometimes, and Miami might want to embrace that image.

USC, Texas A&M and 18 other bets for your weekend, by Bud Elliott. Surely Bud can bounce back from a 1-2 Thursday.

Dalvin Cook out Saturday. Florida State's stud running back has a bum ankle and won't face Syracuse.

They ain't played nobody, yet. But we now know exactly when and where SEC teams will meet next year, as the league released its full 2016 conference schedule.

Action Braxton. Ohio State’s QB-turned-receiver is thriving in his new role.

Iowa is still undefeated. The Hawkeyes play Maryland Saturday, and this is the spookiest preview you’ll find anywhere.
