Update: One of the people Williams punched during the fight was reportedly a teammate, center Xavier Dampeer, who suffered an injured jaw.
Dismissed Auburn WR’s alleged punching spree includes punching a teammate
Gus Malzahn announced Duke Williams’ dismissal from the program on Monday.

Former Auburn wide receiver Duke Williams allegedly punched four people at an Auburn bar after the Tigers’ win over San Jose State on Saturday, Al.com is reporting.
According to the witness, the incident was sparked when a member of Williams’ party was kicked out of Skybar for wearing sunglasses inside, a violation of the bar’s dress code policy. Williams, who the witness said appeared intoxicated, attempted to get his friend back into the bar using his local celebrity status only to be denied.
Williams' dismissal from Auburn's football team was already announced on Monday. He sat out the 2015 Outback Bowl for a violation of team rules, and missed a week of practice this preseason due to disciplinary issues.
After transferring from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Williams caught 45 passes for 730 yards and five touchdowns, garnering NFL Draft buzz and high expectations entering the season. College and Magnolia called it “one of the biggest disappointments” imaginable for the Tigers.
While expected to have a monster year catching passes from Jeremy Johnson, (Williams) ends the season with only 12 catches for 147 yards and a single touchdown. The high expectations for Duke -- on the watch list for multiple awards in the pre season -- are just another part of the Auburn football season that did not pan out.
