Due to flooding in South Carolina, this game was moved from Columbia to Death Valley, but LSU’s doing a good job of pretending to be the road team.

By now, you’re probably aware that the LSU vs. South Carolina game this Saturday has been moved from Columbia to Baton Rouge due to the flooding in South Carolina. It’s a tough situation for everyone involved, but not nearly as tough as people dealing with the flooding in their homes and neighborhoods.

Spurrier says he did a commercial for the game urging fans in La. to come out. "Just be quiet when South Carolina has the ball," he added.

#LSU SID Michael Bonnette has confirmed to me that LSU will play "Sandstorm" before kickoff. A #SouthCarolina pregame tradition.

The LSU band will also be learning South Carolina's alma mater. Whether they play it very often or not is beyond the point. As noted in the Q&A between our South Carolina and LSU blogs, this year is the 10-year anniversary of LSU playing a "home" game in Arizona due to Hurricane Katrina, so if anyone knows how strange this situation can be, it's LSU.
