Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook left Saturday's game against Maryland with an apparent right shoulder injury. Cook was hurt on a hit by Maryland defensive lineman Jesse Aniebonam, and clearly grimaced after hitting the turf. Treatment on the Spartan sideline didn't look too pleasant, either.
Michigan State QB Connor Cook knocked out of game against Maryland with shoulder injury
Michigan State’s all-conference quarterback injured his throwing shoulder on a big hit.

Cook was under repeated pressure from Maryland’s defensive front Saturday, and took a series of big hits in the first half.
After receiving treatment, Cook returned to the game and finished the first half. However, ESPN reported that Cook was still in considerable pain. Cook underthrew a deep pass and was intercepted in his first series back after the hit. When the Spartan offense returned to the field for the second half, backup quarterback Tyler O’Connor was under center, though Cook clearly disagreed with the decision.
