College football odds, Week 12: Ohio State by 13 over Michigan State, and other betting favorites

Ohio State, Iowa and Oklahoma State are all focused on remaining undefeated this week in highlight games on the college football odds board.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are 9-2 straight up in their last 11 games against the Michigan State Spartans. The Buckeyes will look to remain undefeated this Saturday at home with the Spartans coming to Ohio Stadium.

Ohio State opened as a 13-point favorite at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Over their last four games, the Buckeyes have seemingly rounded into form with a 3-1 ATS record after going 0-5 ATS in their previous five games.

Michigan State has also turned things around against the spread recently with a 3-1 SU and ATS record over its last four games since starting the season off 0-6 ATS.

The Baylor Bears suffered their first loss of the season last week at the hands of the Oklahoma Sooners. This Saturday, Baylor will be the team looking for a road upset over an undefeated team when it visits the Oklahoma State Cowboys as a 1-point underdog.

Oklahoma State avoided a disastrous upset last week with a 35-31 comeback win over Iowa State. Over the last 18 years, Baylor is just 5-13 SU and ATS when playing on Week 12.

Iowa’s pursuit of a perfect regular season continues on Saturday when the Hawkeyes host the Purdue Boilermakers. The Hawkeyes are a 19.5-point favorite against Purdue after surviving an upset scare in a 40-35 win over Minnesota last Saturday.

In Purdue’s last 10 games as an underdog of a touchdown or more, the Boilermakers are 7-2-1 ATS. They aren’t likely to be a threat to Iowa’s undefeated record, however, with an 0-7 SU mark in their last seven road games.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish meet the Boston College Eagles at Fenway Park this Saturday night. Notre Dame is trying to keep its playoff hopes alive and is a 17-point favorite in Boston.

The betting underdog has gone 8-2 ATS in the last 10 games between the Eagles and the Fighting Irish according to the OddsShark College Football Database. Boston College is 0-4 SU in its last four games against Notre Dame.

TCU at Oklahoma is another big game on the card this week, but no early line has been released as linemakers await word on the status of TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin.
