Alabama running back Derrick Henry solidified his place as the Heisman Trophy favorite after a 204-yard performance against Mississippi State, according to Bovada. Henry was already the favorite after an impressive performance against LSU, but he has improved his odds from 3/2 to 2/3. Our Andy Hutchins has Henry No. 1 in his Heisman watch, as well.
Leonard Fournette’s no longer the Heisman betting favorite, but he’s still in the top 3
Will Fournette keep falling?

LSU’s Leonard Fournette, who was the favorite until a poor performance against Alabama, has dropped even further. He is now tied for second — a spot he held all to himself last week — with Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott. Elliott was a co-favorite with TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin entering the season. Boykin’s odds were hurt after his team lost to Oklahoma State two weeks ago, and now he is off the board, following an injury against Kansas. He is listed questionable this week against Oklahoma.
It’s looking more and more like a running back is going to win the Heisman. Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson and Baylor wide receiver Corey Coleman are both on the board, but they’re listed fourth and fifth, respectively, and Coleman saw his odds fall after Baylor lost this past weekend.
