Houston coach Tom Herman is a potential candidate for a number of power conference schools after leading the Cougars to a 10-0 start in his first year at the school. Herman is particularly linked to Mizzou and South Carolina. Houston knows that and it is reportedly pulling out all the stops to keep Herman for more than a year. From Football Scoop:

While there has been no shortage of chatter regarding Tom Herman’s future of late, sources continue to tell FootballScoop that Houston is working on a new package for him, hoping to take him off the market.
The Houston Board of Regents is reportedly trying to find more money to get him to stay in Houston past this year.
