It’s Penn State-Michigan Saturday, an Upper Midwestern, Big Ten MANBALL spectacle that you get to see old-school quirks long forgotten by those who follow the modern game. It’s like going to a renaissance fair, or Colonial Williamsburg. It’s old-timey purely for show.
Penn State punted from right here, which of course resulted in a touchback
So #B1G. So very #B1G.

This is the only way to justify what Penn State just did: Punt from the Michigan 34-yard line.

— Timothy Burke (@bubbaprog) November 21, 2015 The punt landed 3 yards deep in the Michigan end zone, netting Penn State 14 yards of field position, because of course it did. How quaint!
The 34-yard touchback was the second Penn State punt of the day. The first came from the Michigan 38-yard line. Penn State football: Still cheaper than a trip to Medieval Times!
