The college football coaching carousel continues to turn, and the big news on Sunday was that Georgia has split with coach Mark Richt. Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart is the Bulldogs’ top target. Star linebacker Leonard Floyd also tweeted that he’s leaving.

Georgia players on Twitter were not happy with the decision, and Dawg Sports has a lengthy case for firing the AD. Even Nick Saban couldn’t believe it, saying, “I don’t know what the world is coming to in our profession” on the SEC teleconference.

- Rutgers fired Kyle Flood and athletic director Julie Hermann.
- Iowa State hired Matt Campbell from Toledo.
- UCF is expected to hire Dino Babers from Bowling Green.
- Memphis has reportedly extended an offer to Missouri defensive coordinator Barry Odom to replace Fuente.
- USC has reportedly reached out to Chip Kelly.

It was a big day for recruiting news, too. Four-star quarterback Feleipe Franks flipped from LSU to Florida, and four-star defensive back Lavert Hill decommitted from Penn State.
