The Tennessee Volunteers (4-4, 2-3 in SEC play) have a chance to rebound from a disappointing start with a nice finish to the season. The Vols will be favored in all four of their final games, and after trouncing Kentucky last week that would make for a nice five-game winning streak. But a streak will have to start with a second win in a row as the South Carolina Gamecocks (3-5, 1-5 in conference) come to Neyland Stadium on Saturday.
How to watch South Carolina vs. Tennessee on TV or online, plus 3 things to know
The Gamecocks travel to Knoxville for this SEC East matchup.
For the Gamecocks, it's a chance for a second conference win for interim head coach Shawn Elliott. Probably the last chance for another one, given that South Carolina will close out conference play with the likely SEC East champion Florida Gators.
Tennessee has some momentum going, however. There was the 21-point comeback against Georgia three weeks ago, and the Vols had Alabama on the ropes in the second half before dropping 52 on Kentucky last week. Young talents like Joshua Dobbs, Jalen Hurd and the wide receivers are starting to come together, and a winning streak would build some big momentum going into Butch Jones' fourth season.

Three big things to know
1. Joshua Dobbs
Tennessee’s cerebral QB has made some strides through October and is starting to make the kind of plays that many thought he could when the season began. He scored four touchdowns (2 each rushing and passing) last week against Kentucky, and he takes on a Gamecock defense that is dead last in the conference allowing 6.07 yards per play.
2. Slow things down
Run defense has been an issue at times for Tennessee, and while South Carolina's offense isn't prolific there's talent there in tailbacks Brandon Wilds and David Williams, plus multi-purpose freshman quarterback Lorenzo Nunez. If South Carolina can keep its ground game going, that would help keep that weak defense off the field.
3. Win one for the Ol’ Ball Coach
Now-retired South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier was a lot of things, and he was most certainly a thorn in the University of Tennessee’s side. A native of the Volunteer State, Spurrier relished beating the Vols, especially when Peyton Manning was around. Surely, he’d love to watch his former players extend Tennessee’s misery with another conference loss this season.
