How to watch Wisconsin vs. Maryland on TV or online, plus 3 things to know
Two teams in vastly different spots compete Saturday afternoon. Here’s how to see it.

Wisconsin has quietly put together a solid 7-2 record, with its only losses coming to top 10 teams Alabama and Iowa. The Badgers need some help if they are to again win the Big Ten West -- Iowa would have to lose twice in November -- but they are not yet out of the race. Running back Corey Clement, who missed eight weeks with a hernia, ran for more than 10 yards per carry in his return against Rutgers last week.
Maryland is struggling through a difficult Big Ten slate under interim coach Mike Locksley. The Terrapins are playing against their fifth consecutive conference opponent with either an undefeated or one-loss record in the Big Ten. It doesn’t get any easier with undefeated Michigan State on tap for next week.

Three big things to know
Hard-Corey. Clement suffered a hernia in the practice leading up to the team’s season opener against Alabama, and was clearly hobbled during his eight-carry, 16-yard performance. He missed the next seven games, as the Badgers relied on a halfback committee of Dare Ogunbowale and Taiwan Deal to carry the ball. A healthy Clement returned last week and posted 115 yards and three touchdowns on just 11 carries. A healthy Clement makes an otherwise-lethargic Wisconsin offense exponentially better.
There is a ‘D’ in Wisconsin. With that said, the Badgers have relied more than ever on their defense this season. The Wisconsin defense is ranked first nationally in scoring defense at just 11.0 points allowed per game. The Badgers are also third in total defense, fifth in pass efficiency defense and fourth in red zone defense. There’s not much need for offense with a defense that solid.
Home sweet oh. Maryland has been more competitive since the midseason firing of head coach Randy Edsall, but the Terrapins still haven’t defeated a Big Ten opponent at home since Oct. 18. Of 2014. Locksley isn’t considered a serious contender for the job, but an upset win could generate some much-needed positive momentum with winnable games against Indiana and Rutgers still to play.
