UCF receiver makes leaping catch over a defender’s back

Central Florida has not won a game this season, but it’s not for lack of effort. Receiver Tre’Quan Smith made a circus catch Saturday on an underthrown deep pass by quarterback Justin Holman. Smith turned back, jumped, reached over the back of a Tulsa defensive back, and hauled in the pass while falling headfirst to the turf.

Smith now has three catches for 51 yards. And yet, despite Smith’s heroics, the Knights are once against trailing. Tulsa leads 24-13.
