College football odds 2015, Week 11: Baylor, Alabama among betting favorites

Baylor, Oklahoma State and Alabama among playoff hopefuls looking to navigate through another tough spot this week as betting favorites.

Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports

The Oklahoma Sooners are 8-2 straight up and 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games on the road against the Baylor Bears. Oklahoma will look to play spoiler and keep its Big 12 title hopes alive with another road win over Baylor this Saturday.

Oklahoma is a 3.5-point underdog on the road for Saturday night, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Sooners opened as a 6-point underdog, but early money came in on Oklahoma and quickly moved the line down to +3.5. Baylor has won each of its last 10 games at home in the month of November and is one of the two remaining undefeated teams in the Big 12.

The other undefeated team in the Big 12, the Oklahoma State Cowboys, are a 13.5-point road favorite this Saturday at Iowa State. Coming off the huge upset win over TCU last week and facing Baylor and Oklahoma over the next two weeks, the Cowboys will need to be careful not to overlook the Cyclones this Saturday.

Oklahoma State is 9-0 SU on the season and 6-1 ATS over its last seven games. The home team is 7-2 SU and ATS in the last nine games in this head-to-head series according to the OddsShark College Football Database.

Alabama asserted its dominance last Saturday with a convincing 30-16 win over the LSU Tigers. The Crimson Tide open as a 7-point road favorite this Saturday on the road against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Mississippi State is 7-2 SU and 6-3 ATS this season including a 3-0 SU and ATS run over its last three games.

The favorite in the last four games between Oregon and Stanford is 1-3 SU and ATS. Stanford hopes to buck that trend as a 9-point favorite at home on Saturday hosting the Oregon Ducks. The Cardinal are 8-0 SU and 7-1 ATS over their last eight games, and would appear to be one of the beneficiaries of last week’s undefeated teams picking up losses. Stanford is 5-0 SU and ATS in its last five games at home.

J.T. Barrett will return to Ohio State this Saturday when the Buckeyes face the Illinois Fighting Illini on the road. The Buckeyes are a 17-point road favorite.
