North Carolina A&T chucks an opponent’s helmet like a medicine ball

Just good instincts, if you ask me.

A FOOTBALL PLAYER DID WHAT? HE TORE OFF AN OPPONENT’S HELMET DURING A GAME? AND THEN HE HURLED IT ACROSS THE FIELD?

That would be entertaining. It would also be rude. It wouldn’t be as entertaining as what actually happened, though.

North Carolina A&T’s Joshua Patrick found himself with the Alcorn State ball carrier’s helmet in his hands during a pileup, then discarded the evidence by slam dunking it over a crowd of humanity. The problem of holding an opponent’s helmet was thus solved, penalty flags be damned.

The Celebration Bowl is explosive, competitive, fun, and meaningful, but let’s not forget that it is resourceful.
