Star receiver recruit Keith Gavin deciding between Alabama, Florida State

Keith Gavin has narrowed his list of college suitors down to two traditional football powerhouses.

Four-star wide receiver Keith Gavin has attracted recruiting interest from some of the nation’s top college football programs. Schools like Clemson, Georgia, and Miami have all offered a scholarship to the imposing touchdown threat. With fewer than two months to go before National Signing Day, he’s whittled his list of suitors down to two: Alabama and Florida State.

SB Nation national recruiting analyst Bud Elliott caught up with Gavin in advance of the Under Armour All American Game. The high school senior is a 6’3, 220-pound wideout. ESPN rates him as the 80th-best recruit in the nation.

Here’s what he had to say about his two top choices.

Florida State, I grew up with. Been a Florida State fan. It has always been my dream school to go to.

When I went to ‘Bama for the first time, I just enjoyed myself. I fell in love with the campus and the team and the coaches. It took off from there.
