SB Nation national recruiting analyst Bud Elliott caught up with Smith to talk about his pledge to the Tigers, but not before a quick demonstration on two wheels and a quick conversation about the safety of the embattled machines.
He also found the time to discuss what advice he would have given to himself as a sophomore and broke down the difference between Louisiana fried chicken joint Raising Cane’s and the more ubiquitous southern chain Zaxby’s. Smith is ranked as ESPN’s sixth-best cornerback recruit and as the 45th-best player in the class of 2016.
