Dabo Swinney did some testifyin’ about Clemson after winning the Orange Bowl

Coach had something he needed to speak on.

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

Following No. 1 Clemson's 37-17 win over No. 4 Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl, there's plenty of reason to celebrate for the Tigers. Head coach Dabo Swinney, who's known for going on bouts of yellin' postgame, was in fine form when the microphone made its way to his mouth.

For those of you keeping track of this at home, Dabo spoke for over a minute following one single question. And while Clemson were technically underdogs coming into the Orange Bowl, generally undefeated conference champions do not fit into the classical definition of “underdog.”

In the other notable postgame hollerin’ this year, Dabo was interrupted after Clemson’s win over Notre Dame by an abrupt cutaway to the Sportscenter desk, where the anchors were absolutely not ready to be on camera.
