Mid-spring is the last time college football fans will see their teams until the fall. But more importantly, it provides an opportunity for fans who show up to watch these meaningless scrimmages to argue that they truly are the most dedicated fans in the sport.
2015 spring game attendance standings: Ohio State sets record, Big Ten dominates
The SEC falls shy of its northern neighbor again in 2015.

Ohio State took a commanding lead in the attendance standings, setting an all-time record with 99,391 people in attendance Saturday. Ohio State set the previous record (95,722) in 2009. The defending national champions soared above Nebraska, who led through the first group of games. Bumped down was Michigan, which by claiming 60,000 fans quadrupled last year’s total, likely due to the hiring of Jim Harbaugh.
Tennessee and Michigan State have joined the top, with Arkansas nearly making the whole top 10 the exclusive domain of just the Big Ten and SEC.
Here’s a look at the standings as is, keeping in mind that some don’t have games, some have yet to play, and others don’t announce numbers. Also keep in mind that schools can claim whatever numbers they want.
