Good morning! It’s your digest of the weekend’s college football news!

But not to be outdone, there are apparently some Texas fans at St. Andrew’s, who sang the school’s “Eyes of Texas” for 2015 FedEx Cup leader Jordan Spieth.
Bright future. Chris Petersen is working to build a Pac-12 contender at Washington, but with three All-Americans leaving from a mediocre team, this probably isn't going to be the Huskies' year, writes Bill Connelly.
Recency bias. History matters in college football, but in terms of recruiting, it only matters for as long as the players being recruited have been watching. Given that window, numbers rank the best programs of the past 10 years.
Extremely Miami. Where is the most Miami place to announce new uniforms? A nightclub, of course, and that’s exactly what the Hurricanes did, showing off their new Adidas uniforms at LIV with Sebastian the Ibis in a suit, Yeezys and Pusha T all making appearances.
Rutgers rising? Rutgers athletic director Julie Hermann has had her fair share of gaffes, but now she might finally have the program headed in the right direction.
Crootin’. A lot happened! Highlights:
- Baylor got a four-star linebacker over basically everybody.
- Tennessee got the top in-state prospect.
- Louisville went to SEC territory to pick up a linebacker.
- Penn State beat Notre Dame and USC for a four-star linebacker.
- Arizona got FIVE commits on Saturday alone.
- Georgia beat a number of SEC schools for a 2017 athlete.
- A blue-chip receiver picked Stanford over BYU and others.
- Clemson added a four-star linebacker who was visiting for the Tigers’ All In Cookout.
This mean anything? Everett Golson ranks third on FSU's quarterback depth chart.
America is American football champs. Believe it or not, there is an American football world tournament. The USA beat Japan 59-12 to win the tournament championship, following an 82-0 semifinal win over France. Fun stat: American opponents rushed for -11 yards in the tournament.
National Ice Cream Day. Sunday was National Ice Cream Day, and if you missed out on the festivities yesterday, you should certainly go get a Dilly Bar and celebrate like a true college football fan.
