Ole Miss dropped 76 points last week on Tennessee-Martin, but it will take a small step up this week, at least in terms of an actual FBS opponent, in Fresno State.
How to watch Fresno State vs. Ole Miss on TV or online, plus 3 things to know
Will the Bulldogs remember 2011?
The Bulldogs handled Abilene Christian in week one, but are facing a bit of a youth movement this season and shouldn’t be much of a challenge for the Rebels.
Junior-college transfer quarterback Chad Kelly won the starting job and put up a solid line against UT-Martin, completing 9 of 15 passes with two touchdowns, plus a 20-yard rushing score. Star defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche even got into the scoring act on offense.
Fresno State is led by quarterback Zack Greenlee, who threw for three scores against Abilene Christian, and tailback Marteze Waller, who ran for 154 yards on 22 carries.

Three big things to know
1. REVENGE!
This might seem like an odd inter-sectional series, but this game marks Ole Miss’ return trip from a visit to Fresno in 2011. The Rebels won game one, 38-28, in what was one of the two victories of Houston Nutt’s final year in Oxford.
2. Spreading the wealth
Hugh Freeze really emptied his bench in Ole Miss’ first game: 11 players caught passes and six tailbacks carried the football, along with a couple of rushing attempts from two of the three quarterbacks that saw time.
3. Anywhere, anytime
Fresno State built a reputation as a bit of a giant killer in the early 2000s under former head coach Pat Hill, and have traveled to the likes of Wisconsin, Washington, UCLA, Kansas State, USC and Nebraska. But this marks just the program’s sixth matchup with an SEC opponent. Fresno is 0-5 against the conference, with losses to LSU, Tennessee and Auburn in addition to two previous losses to Ole Miss.
