One of Week 1’s most spectacular finishes was BYU’s last-second Hail Mary victory over Nebraska. Star quarterback Taysom Hill had been injured earlier in the game, and backup Tanner Mangum came in to help lead the Cougars to a huge comeback victory.

This was another monumental game for BYU, facing perhaps the Cougars’ biggest competitor for an at-large bid to a major bowl. Boise State was a serious contender to go undefeated again, but BYU has ended those hopes early.
The lesson? Never, ever play BYU.
