Week 3 is going to bring us one of the SEC West’s first big divisional matchups, as No. 2 Alabama prepares to welcome 15th-ranked Ole Miss to Bryant-Denny Stadium, looking to avenge last season’s 23-17 momentous loss in Oxford.
How to watch Ole Miss vs. Alabama on TV or online, plus 3 things to know
It’s a rematch of one of 2014’s marquee games, and the winner will have inside track in the SEC West.
The Crimson Tide may be higher rated, but Ole Miss comes in on the hot streak, averaging 74.5 points per game and 9.3 yards per plays, figures that lead the nation in both categories. Junior college transfer quarterback Chad Kelly leads the offense, averaging 13.9 yards per attempt with six touchdowns in what's been limited time as the Rebels blew out Tennessee-Martin and Fresno State. Junior Laquon Treadwell leads an experienced receiving corps.
On the other side, Alabama followed up an impressive win over Wisconsin with a more workman-like demolition of Middle Tennessee State last week. Jacob Coker, who was efficient in the opener, threw an interception and contributed to the Tide offense converting just four out of 13 third downs.

Three big things to know
1. Robert Nkemdiche What is there to know about the Ole Miss star tackle is that on top of doing things like this on defense ...
2. Derrick Henry The Crimson Tide star leads the conference with six rushing touchdowns, but faces his biggest test of the season against the Ole Miss defense. The Rebels are allowing just 3.07 yards per carry so far this season after allowing just 3.47 a year ago. Ole Miss is also yet to allow a touchdown on the ground. Henry is 6'3, 242 pounds and appears to have become a focus of the Bama offense under Lane Kiffin.
3. Who's catching the ball? Alabama has four receivers with seven or more catches through the first two weeks, including tight end O.J. Howard, who is nearly halfway to his 2014 total of 17 catches already. Somebody's going to have to emerge against the Rebels. Former five-star recruit Robert Foster leads the team with two touchdowns on his eight catches for 99 yards.
